talking to emily was one of the highlights of my week.

other good things include but aren't limited to:
- new episodes of all the NBC comedy shows
- sophia is super cuddly lately
- finally working (even though it's part time and in the middle of the night)

danae had her gallbladder removed this week, she's entertaining on morphine. a lot of super nice people have brought dinners for a few days.

closure

yesterday was a good day. i finally finished something that has dragged on for months now, in the building where i took this photo of my feet. it's good to have closure.

2 job interviews this week, one today, one on saturday. also, i have a photo shoot with a fantastic couple of people (whose wedding i can't wait for) this weekend and it's going to be great. all in all, life is steadily improving!

janis women retreat - spa night!

my family rocks. all the women (minus a few aunts who live out of town) spent the night and we had a giant party! we had dinner and gelato and then came home for a spa experience. we tried a few different face scrubs and masks all made with food! my aunt danae planned the event. she's amazing.
