tonight my dad, grandpa, 2 brothers, and i went to see gulliver's travels in 3D. honeslty i didn't like it, but i'm not much of a movie fan anyway and tend to be highly critical of most shows. my reaction to it was "what the heck was the point of this show." it was fun going out with my family though, and seeing a movie in theaters is always an experience.


this is the correct way to treat your 3D glasses after a show:

today we visited my grandpa at his chiropractic office. he gave us all adjustments and i feel like my body is okay again:) afterwords we hit a chinese buffet.

entrance to grand pkwy from cinco ranch blvd.. i've grown up driving past it and for some reason it makes me feel calm inside every time i see this. had to take a pic today. i know this is overkill but i LOVE my phone's camera!! seriously, i am so happy.

obviously my blog is a mess right now, but hopefully i'll have it under control and just how i want it. sorry for the eye sore.

on the plus side, i'm including an image i took yesterday of a field i will potentially use for a shoot this week, so you have something new to look at while i clean this place up! :)

new locations + choir concert

today emily went with me to check out some photo locations around katy. it was perfect weather, we rolled the windows down, listened to good music, and shared a sonic lime slush. ahhhhhhhh:) we ended up at a park. i am loving my new phone's camera. holy moly:

also, every year, our church and our neighboring church get together for a christmas concert. we alternate years for who's church hosts the performance, this year it was the epiphany church's turn. my mom played the violin and my brother taylor was part of the choir. in high school i participated for a few years, now i just come home for the holidays and enjoy:) this is from the concert last night:

new phone pics

i bought a new phone. the camera is fantastic. the apps are amazing. these were taken with a phone camera and edited with these apps: shake it photo, photoshop (yep, there's an app!!!), and uploaded with the flickr app.
